Design and engineering

Our in-house design and engineering capability
supports projects from early concept through
construction and handover.
Our design team supports complex tunnelling and
infrastructure projects — from feasibility through to
detailed design.
We provide practical, buildable solutions that reduce
risk, improve safety and enhance cost and programme
certainty. Through early contractor involvement (ECI),
we collaborate closely with clients and designers
to optimise methodologies, temporary works and
construction sequencing.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computer
Aided design (CAD)
Our engineers bring specialist expertise in tunnelling,
shafts, plant integration and complex temporary works,
ensuring designs are aligned with real-world site
conditions.
From 2D plans to detailed 3D models, our CAD
technicians deliver design outputs across every project
phase—covering geological sections, clash detection,
vehicle tracking and site-specific geospatial alignment.
By integrating engineering and delivery, we enable
informed decision-making, minimise change during
construction and deliver robust solutions that support
safe, efficient project execution.

We work to ISO 19650 and ISO 1192 standards and are
fully BIM Level 1 and 2 compliant. Our team operates
across multiple CDEs including BIM 360, Autodesk
Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, and Aconex.
