Our crews supported the SCS JV in
maintaining steady TBM advance rates
across both tunnels, managing their own
and the client’s direct labour - holidays
etc. This approach had was a significant
factor in contributing to a successful
progression towards key programme
milestones.
JGL supported the production and
planning of the works. This approach
saw us leading on weekly site labour and
forecasting meetings, and creating weekly
safety and supervisor meetings.
The ability to shift labour resources
between the TBM drive and the three vent
shafts ensured programme resilience and
reduced downtime risk.
