Ventilation Accessories
Anemometers
Rigid Bends and
Support Frames
Used to measure air speeds.
Rigid Bends can be used in place of flexible
ducting to maintain airflow and prevent duct
collapse, particularly at the top of the shaft.

These can be attached to support frames to
bolt the bend to either the floor (at the top of
a shaft) or to segment linings.
Hot Wire - Low speed range, high
accuracy. Used to measure airflow
speed in tunnels/headings.
Vane Anemometer - Higher speed
range. Used to measure airflow speed
at duct outlets / fan inlets.
Ducting
Semi-rigid fire-retardent , heavy duty ducting
can be supplied to suit any application, whether
that is suction or forced ventilation.
Variable Speed Drives
(VSDs)
Specialist Plant Associates can supply ventilation
fans equipped with VSDs, to give variable speed
control and soft-start on high power fans.
