And the variety?
It’s one of the things that makes working in the JGL design team so interesting.
At the moment, part of the team is dedicated to the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture scheme, supporting
technically challenging trenchless works associated with the UK’s emerging carbon capture
infrastructure.
Our involvement in the Liverpool Bay works demonstrates the bene昀椀t of bringing design and delivery
together, with the company providing in-house engineering alongside specialist construction capability.
Elsewhere, our engineers are working on HDD and other trenchless solutions across an increasingly
diverse range of projects.
From o昀昀shore wind and renewable energy infrastructure, to pipe diversions, water infrastructure,
substation cable routes and utility crossings — the list keeps growing.
One team. One goal.
Whether we’re sitting around a design table solving a di昀케cult engineering problem, working through an
assurance comment, developing a calculation, responding to a site query or pushing a package towards
construction, the objective remains the same:
Deliver the right engineering solution, e昀케ciently, safely, on programme and to budget.
That’s what makes the Leeds design o昀케ce special.
It’s not just about individual engineers producing individual designs.
It’s a team of people bringing together engineering, construction knowledge, project management and
specialist trenchless expertise to solve real-world problems.
And with the range of projects currently coming through the business, we’re excited to see what the rest
of the year brings.
Turning engineering challenges into buildable solutions.
Engineers before all else
